It works just like it should too, Itried it out.
I stayed at Daryl and Alison's place on a few different occasions during my annual holiday break. At this particular time it was to move his caravan from a shed in Coonawarra to his back yard in Glencoe, a distance of roughly 50km. |
|

"Just got to put the fence back, take the bits from underneath off and build the shed and i'm in business"
| |
|

The caravan in place ready to have it's wheels and axles removed.
|
The real tricky part was to get the van parked in the garden, parallel to the fence without destroying all the plants.
The roof leaks so we are going to have to build a shed pronto.
|
The move took roughly 5hrs which was little more than we expected but not more than we allowed for the job. The caravan is going to be set up as an extra room for visitors.
Two studs were broken on the front left hand side wheel which was worrying. We didn't want the wheel to come off on it's short journey because that might just piss us off. We also couldn't get the hubs to take grease.
"Fuck it, it's only 50km and who cares if it ceases. It will never be towed again after today anyway" Daryl exclaimed. When its in place the wheels, axles and 'A' frame are going to be removed so that the van can sit lower to the ground. |
