IN AYR on the weekend a 21 year old girl was left crying as her drunken father brawled with relatives.
It all started early and without problems, the birthday girl and family started the party at 6pm, but guests didn't start arriving until nearly 7pm. The buffet meal was served at 10pm. In total there were approximately 50 guests who all brought their own alcohol.
Although most were content with sitting and talking, some kicked their heals up on the dance floor. everything seemed ok but trouble was brewing between the father and one of his relatives.
At about 4.15am after 10 hours of drinking it was on. As family members moved in to break up the fight, the father started taking on family members.
